When you wear a waist trainer, it exerts pressure on your midsection, encouraging elongation and alignment of the spine, which in turn improves posture. With regular use, this can lead to a more upright and balanced body position over time.
Waist trainers are generally safe if worn correctly. They are supposed to apply moderate pressure around your midsection but never too tight (ouch!). You should be able to breath, move and wear for several hours without excessive discomfort. We recommend consulting your doctor with questions. Remember, do not wear a waist trainer too tight, do not wear it to sleep and take it off right away if you experience any shortness of breath, numbness or excessive discomfort.
We do not recommend you sleep with a waist trainer. Your body regenerates while you sleep, you should not add extra pressure while you're resting.
You should see results within 1-3 weeks after consistently wearing your waist trainer daily. We always recommend measuring yourself before starting your waist training journey so you can see your progress.
